National Parents Week 2010
Organised by Parentline
and
supported by AXA
11th – 17th October 2010
Monday 11th to Sunday 17th October is National Parents Week. We would like you to invite you, your family and your organisation to take part in National Parents Week 2010. To participate, you can do whatever suits you – maybe a cup of coffee for your family or members, training, an art competition or a conference… anything to highlight the very important role that parents play in society and the valuable work you do.
The purpose of National Parents Week is to:
-celebrate the role of parenting
-provide information and support on various aspects of parenting
-build awareness for the many organisations supporting parents
Please try to arrange some event – no matter how small. And, please let us know about your event so that we can list it on the Parentline website and include it in any media coverage associated with National Parents Week. Email the details of your event to info@parentline.ie
We will shortly send you some posters so you can publicise your National Parents Week 2010 event.
This is the sixth National Parents Week. Each year it gets bigger and better with more and more individuals and organisations getting involved. Why don’t you join us in celebrating parents and parenting?
Please call 01 8787230 for more information about National Parents Week.
We look forward to hearing about your event.
